Halong - Sapa Flexible Small-Group & Private Trips

From start to finish Hang Moon with Best Price Travel was extremely helpful. He was easily accessible and responsive to any and all questions I had re: my booking. He assisted me in making sure my GF and I could make the most of our time in Vietnam, getting to see Hanoi, Ninh Binh and ending on an incredible note in Halong Bay and Lan Ha Bay - all with no back tracking. Him and his team should be commended for their work as our trip was nothing short of spectacular. We originally chose the Scarlet Pearl for our 3 day 2 night cruise but Approx 1 month before our scheduled dates we received an email forwarded by the Scarlet Pearl to Best Price Travel notifying them that their cruise ship would be undergoing maintenance during our dates. Rather than this turning into a huge problem Hang Moon and his team at best price travel offer us to be put on their sister ship the Velar of the Seas. Approx same # of cabins, same exact itinerary, same quality of food - so made for a seemless transition without any issues. In addition they upgraded our cabin to a VIP suite. Oh my god - the room was AMAZING! It was larger than where I live - lol!! It was also my GF's Bday and Hang and his team at Best Price Travel took it upon themselves to communicate with the Velar staff and ensure the room was set up with decorations ,flowers on the bed and the 1st night at dinner they dimmed the lights and the entire staff came over with a cake and sang Happy Bday ! WOW was my GF surprised! No pun intended but that was the icing on the cake!! Throughout my life Ive traveled extensively, dealt with many travel agents / agencies and I must say Hang Moon and his staff at Best Price Travel deserve 6 stars!!! .... and Halong Bay - WOW - IMO it is certainly one of the most majestically beautiful places on earth! If you go I highly recommend booking through Best Price Travel and do either 3D/2N or 4D/3N as one day in those bays is not enough to take in all of its grandeur!! SincerelyMore

We had an incredible experience on our tour from Hanoi to Sapa and Halong Bay. Our travel agent, Zoe, made everything effortless, with smooth pickups and drop-offs and excellent communication throughout the trip. Honestly, everything was good. We have no complaints. We do however suggest that the program be updated to correctly reflect what must happen on the day we travel to Sapa. We almost missed the train because the program said someone will collect us and send us to the station. The hotel staff also didn't have information about us so they couldn't understand what we were saying due to language barrier. Everything else was wonderful and we had such a beautiful experience. Lot's of check in and check out. I do think that the trip would be a much better experience if for example we start in Sapa then once we are back on Hanoi, the long distance travel is out of the way but maybe this is just a personal preference. We went on a customized tour of Northern Vietnam and had an amazing experience. Zoe, our travel agent, was excellent, very responsive, and ensured everything went smoothly. Because the tour was tailored to our preferences, we could choose the activities we wanted and even make changes midway, which were accommodated without any issues. I had requested to include Ninh Binh in the itinerary and was happy we got to experience a bit of this area along with Hanoi, Sapa, and a cruise on Halong Bay. The boat trip in Ninh Binh was exciting, and the visits to temples and pagodas in Hanoi were fascinating. The Halong Bay cruise had a touch of comfort and elegance, and the massage service on board was excellent. Caving on Cat Ba Island the following morning was also an enjoyable experience. The nightlife and the visit to Cat Cat Village in Sapa were both unique highlights. We unfortunately had to skip the trekking to the ethnic villages because of a stomach issue that day, but perhaps that will be a good reason to return.
