Vientiane The Capital And Largest City Of Laos

After having breakfast at your hotel, we will visit Wat Si Muang, a renowned Buddhist temple that holds deep spiritual significance and cultural importance. Then visit Buddha Park, where you can take an unforgettable journey into the world of faith and art.

You then enjoy your time at Lao Disabled Women Development Center, established in 1990, which creates practical opportunities for people with disabilities through vocational training and life skill training. 

After that, tourists can explore the national symbol of Laos, That Luang. This grand golden stupa, with its intricate architecture and historical significance, serves as a focal point for cultural and spiritual gatherings.

The journey to the Patuxai will amaze you with a fantastic view that encompasses the entire city.

Continue down to Lane Xang Avenue, the serene Wat Sisaket and Wat Phra Keo, which are significant cultural and religious landmarks, showcasing the rich Buddhist heritage of the region.

After the tour, transfer back to the hotel in Vientiane.

That Luang Symbol Of Buddhism And The Sovereignty Of Laos

We'll start our journey north from the capital bright and early, heading to Vang Vieng via the Vientiane - Vang Vieng highway. With the advantage of ideal terrain, with its back leaning against the mountains, facing the river, Vang Vieng town is known as a peaceful countryside with a fresh and cool climate.

Tourists will take a visit to Tham Phoukham caves this afternoon. The most notable feature of the cave is its bright blue and crystal-clear lagoon at the bottom of the cave. There is a natural pool right in front of the caves, offering a delightful opportunity for a refreshing swim to cool off from the warm climate. 

Upon returning to town, tourists indulge in a leisurely boat ride along the Namsong River, allowing you to appreciate the sunset as it gracefully descends behind the mountains.

Admire The Most Beautiful And Famous Limestone Cavern

After breakfast, visit the cave of Tham Jang, where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the valley and the town of Vang Vieng in the distance through the gap cut by the limestone wall.

After that, we transfer to Xieng Khouang. Along the way, tourists will have a chance to admire the gorgeous view over the mountainous area in Phouphiengpha.

From there, we will continue our journey, driving a short distance to the T-Junction located in Phou Khoun. At this point, we will make a right turn, heading towards Xieng Khouang province.

Arrive in Xieng Khuang late afternoon, transfer to your hotel. 

 Xieng Khuang Land Of Mysteries Through Time

Early morning, visit the Central Market, a bustling hub of commerce and culture in the heart of Phonsavan.

After breakfast, you will have a half-day schedule to explore Muang Khoun, the old royal capital of Xieng Khouang Province, and it's home to numerous historical ruins and temples. 

Starting our afternoon journey with UXO Information Centre, helping you get a grip on the devastation Laos suffered in the Second Indochina War. 

Next, head to the Plain of Jars, a remarkable site characterized by hundreds of large, ancient stone jars scattered across the landscape. The Plain of Jars has been heavily bombed during the war and you have to respect all the signs and stay along the defined trails due to bombs, UXO and landmines. Today, you'll have the opportunity to explore Site 1 of the Plain of Jars, the largest and most accessible site open to tourists.

Admire the life of local people in Xieng Khouang for the rest of the day.

 Muang Khoune The Old Provincial Capital

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Luang Prabang, a UNESCO World Heritage city nestled in the lush mountains of northern Laos. You still have chances to take unique photos at some small hill tribe village on this 265-km route.

Visitors will stop by Ban Phoudam and Ban Kiew Nya, both villages are surrounded by picturesque landscapes, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the serene and tranquil countryside of Laos.

Luang Prabang Must Go Destination

After enjoying your breakfast at the hotel, we will start our exploration tour at the Royal Palace Museum, where the country's most sacred Buddha image is kept in a richly ornamented shrine. Next, a relaxed cruise upstream on the Mekong River is set off. 

We then embark on a leisure cruise upstream on the Mekong River, which also gives us a breathtaking view of the tranquil countryside. After that, tourists will explore the mysterious Pak Ou Caves, two linked caves crammed with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes left by pilgrims.  

On the way, you will visit Ban Xang Hai, which is famous for the local homemade alcohol and is available for tasting and purchase.

Stop over Wat Sene and Wat Xiengthong on the way back to the city. Next, tourists can have a chance to drop by Ban Xang Khong and the nearby Ban Xieng Lek, two famous handicraft villages.

Late afternoon, admire the sunset at Wat Prabath and end our tour at the famous Night Market. Overnight in Luang Prabang

 Embark On Leisure Cruise On The Mekong River

This morning, visitors will wake up early and our driver will pick you up at 5:30-6:30 to participate in the most sacred tradition: the daily morning almsgiving. With more than 30 active Buddhist monasteries in Luang Prabang, you can see the long column of monks walking silently and barefoot to receive their alms.

After that, a short visit to the temporary morning market to find a wide array of fresh produce, including fruits, vegetables, herbs, and spices.

After having breakfast, you will conquer 328 steps to reach the top of Phousi Hill, where you can watch the most beautiful sunset in Luang Prabang.

In case time permits, a visit to the UXO Visitor Center (closed on Saturdays and Sundays) will be arranged, where displays of real-life bombies, and compelling survivor stories.

Continue on your journey to Kuang Si waterfalls, you can take a refreshing swim in the cool natural pools and relish the beauty of the falls. Along the way, tourists can stop by to engage with the daily operations of a working buffalo dairy at Buffalo Dairy Farm. 

You also have the chance to discover hidden waterfalls in the nearby village of Ban Thapene, which are seldom ever visited by other tourists. After that, visitors are able to view rescued bears feeding, playing and resting in their forest enclosures at the Bear Rescue Centre. 

Our last stop today is the Ock Pop Tock Living Craft Center, visitors have a chance to learn the natural dye-making process, main materials, production tools, and textile weaving skills.
