Morning

Luang Prabang is located in the heart of northern Laos, this place is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site due to its remarkable cultural, historical, and architectural significance. 

Our guide will lead your group through the quaint streets of Luang Prabang to experience community life. We will participate in one of the petanque courses and play with local people. 

After that, we take part in a private traditional ritual of the Lao people, the Baci ceremony. The ceremony reflects the nation's spiritual essence, providing participants with a rich and unforgettable encounter with Lao culture. 

Evening

Enjoy dinner with a host local family, that gives you the best time of your Luang Prabang exploration.

Morning

Our guide will walk you to the Royal Palace Museum first after having a nice breakfast.  The Royal Palace Museum, constructed in 1904 during the French colonial period, served as the residence for King Sisavang Vong and his family.

Then, continue your adventure on a leisure cruise upstream on the Mekong River to the spectacularPak Ou Caves. Here, you can witness a 16-century cave decorated with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes left by pilgrims.

At the end of the morning, your group stops at the village of Ban Xanghai, famous for many kinds of homemade rice wine. 

Afternoon

Begin the afternoon by visiting the ancient Wat Sene and next to it stands the stunning Wat Xiengthong, a remarkable example of Lao temple craftsmanship, showcasing an expansive two-tiered roof and intricate mosaics, highlighted by a captivating 'tree of life' glass artwork on the temple's rear wall.

If time follows, our team will venture to the Thai Lue village called Ban Xangkhong, renowned for its arts and crafts. And visit Ban Xienglek known for producing traditional Saa paper. During the late afternoon, we can enjoy the beautiful sunset of the day atWat Prabath. 

Evening

In the evening, the tour group can walk in the Night Market, where you can choose many lovely handmade souvenirs from natives.

Morning

Getting up early in the morning, we'll get ready to participate in Laos' most revered tradition: the morning alms-giving ceremony, a practice dating back to the 14th century. At this time, over 200 Buddhist monks journey from different temples to receive their daily meal from kind people seated along the streets.

After that, we can visit the temporary local morning market near the Royal Palace to understand more daily activities of people here. 

After having breakfast at the hotel, head to the Buffalo Dairy Farm for a guided tour, available every 20 minutes, starting on the hour from 10:00 to 17:00. 

Participate in feeding sessions, and buffalo bathing activities, involving washing and scrubbing them. Experience a hands-on milking demonstration to learn about buffalo milk. Interact with playful pigs, cheeky chickens, and rollicking rabbits

If time permits, we will move to the gorgeous waterfall in Luang Prabang, Kuang Si. This area has three tiers leading to a 50-meter drop into spectacular azure pools before flowing downstream. 

Tourists can immerse themselves in the clear waters of the waterfall. Also, walk to the village nearby of Ban Thapene, and explore the mysterious waterfall. If you want, make a brief visit to the Bear Rescue Center,which shelters several dozen animals saved from poachers and traffickers. 

On our arrival back to the city, we can drop by the Ock Pop Tock Living Craft Center to visit the top-quality fabrics process famous in Luang Prabang. 

Transfer back to your hotel late afternoon. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Morning

After starting at 08:30 from your hotel transfer to Nahm Dong Park, which is situated in Ban Xang Khong, far 10 km from the city center. At the park, our group will have a brief welcome by the park manager and then join in morning activities here. 

We will take part in the cooking class, by which you can understand more about Lao cuisine through several traditional meals. Not only can you know techniques and recipes, but you can also visit the gardens of the park and pick your own ingredients.

The course has a minimum of 5 dishes depending on the season. A guidebook with all recipes is provided. The lunch will be served with what you have cooked.

Afternoon

Begin your afternoon with a visit to the glamorous park with experience, appreciating the stunning, lush landscape. After 1-hour playing Ziplines, we will return via the jungle trail, which crosses over bridges, small streams, and transparent natural pools. 

You have the option to spend the remaining afternoon walking through the park, relaxing by a camp hut, or taking a refreshing dip in the clear natural pools. 

Go back to Hillside Resort and spend the night there.

NOTE: Zipline in 1 hour, trekking min 1 hour - max 3 hours depending on the route that you choose.

At Hillside Nature Resort, there are 2 options for visitors to experience:

• Exploring around the village of Ban Xiengmouk to see if the local School is supported by the resort owner. 
• Trekking to the nearby viewpoint through the bamboo forest to take a pony ride in the nearby area (appropriate for children only).
