There was enough room for everyone on board, it was very spacious. Everything was clean and the standard of housekeeping was good. The bed was comfortable and big enough and the bathroom had a good size shower with nice hot water. There were plenty of excursions so we never got bored. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Apart from the boat, the bus transportation used by Pandaw on the long journey from Siem Reap by road to the embarkation point was excellent, the bus had big comfortable armchairs. The standard of the guides were also very good, though they were not directly employed by Pandaw.
However, during the breakfast, lunch and dinner they kind of force you to sit and eat together with other passengers. though it is nice to mingle, it will be good if I can sometimes just sit with my husband to eat and don't have to feel that I have to talk to the other passengers during each and every meal. There were rats on the ship and we could clearly hear them running and squealing in the ceiling above our bedrooms

We would like to say we loved the cruise down the Mekong it was fantastic.
We had a great trip thanks. The cruise was well above our expectations. 5 star all the way…………………….
The cruise had two nights in Pnom Pehn but on the second night we were anchored in the middle of the river so could not go ashore. Considering that was the biggest city on the cruise, that was disappointing.

The meals were of top standard, lunches were a joy with the variety of Cambodian salads on offer and the evening meals were superb degustation style. The library is well equipped as is the gym, the movies shown in the theatre are totally appropriate to the setting and story of Cambodia, and the guide Sophal was excellent. The trip to the killing fields and S21, the school turned prison, were a sobering reminder for us of what the country endured, but when we got stuck in traffic on the way back to see S21 we were told the museum had closed. Sophal made a quick phone call, and it was opened again for us which we very much appreciated. We really enjoyed every aspect of the trip; the markets in Sa Dec were a really interesting experience; the cyclo ride in Phnom Penh was fun; the killing fields were confronting but an absolute must see; the side trips to Phnom Pros and the eco village worth doing. All in all a remarkable trip...……………………………. Less
