Following a satisfying lunch, we navigate through a narrow canal and disembark at Con Phuoc Island, where we have the opportunity to connect with local artisans who skillfully weave bamboo baskets using traditional techniques.
- Witnessing a demonstration, we are encouraged to participate and try our hand at crafting our own unique creations.
Afternoon
- Continuing our exploration, we embark on a delightful adventure aboard a local tuk-tuk, traversing the tranquil village landscape. Along the way, we make a stop at a charming 100-year-old church, immersing ourselves in the rich history and cultural heritage of the area.
- Engaging with the warm and welcoming local community, we gain deeper insights into their way of life and forge meaningful connections.

There was enough room for everyone on board, it was very spacious. Everything was clean and the standard of housekeeping was good. The bed was comfortable and big enough and the bathroom had a good size shower with nice hot water. There were plenty of excursions so we never got bored. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Apart from the boat, the bus transportation used by Pandaw on the long journey from Siem Reap by road to the embarkation point was excellent, the bus had big comfortable armchairs. The standard of the guides were also very good, though they were not directly employed by Pandaw.
However, during the breakfast, lunch and dinner they kind of force you to sit and eat together with other passengers. though it is nice to mingle, it will be good if I can sometimes just sit with my husband to eat and don't have to feel that I have to talk to the other passengers during each and every meal. There were rats on the ship and we could clearly hear them running and squealing in the ceiling above our bedrooms

Regarding Pandaw, the whole cruise was enjoyable. The staff were pleasant and attentive, the food was excellent, the cabin, while small, was very comfortable, and the included shore tours were excellent.
We loved the cruise! Best price was very helpful, great service. Thanks for your service and best wishes.
We would like to say we loved the cruise down the Mekong it was fantastic.
Note Tet holiday so everywhere was very quiet and I don't think that we saw things as they might usually be which was a pity.
