1. From our hotel, Belle Rive Boutique, to Pakbeng, is that the upstream trip? 2. Are passengers picked up from hotel to pier by Shompoo staff? 3. We plan to leave on a Saturday, January 27 can we take the trip back to Laos on 28 of January (a Sunday) since Shompoo operates up to Saturday no Sunday? 4. Is the charge of Shompoo including our hotel stay?

I had an excellent tour on the Shompoo Cruise from Luang Prabang. The trip featured beautiful views of the Mekong River and excellent service from the staff. They are nice and helpful.
The onboard amenities were not special but in good condition, and the traditional Laotian cuisine served was delightful.
I would strongly recommend it to anybody visiting Laos.
Discovering Laos by river is one of the best ways to immerse yourself in the authentic landscapes and the Laos pace of life.
The boat was comfortable, the food delicious, the staff on board helpful and friendly.
