The holiday tour that I booked from BestPrice was outstanding, and beyond my expectations thanks to Jenny Huyen. During 3 days in Sapa, the tour guide was great and knowledgeable. We also had chance to explore the amazing Water Buffalo Market, and the Flower Hmong local life, which impressed me a lot. Such a incredible moment!

Our journey began at 5 a.m. when we stepped off the overnight train in Lao Cai, where we showered and explored the Bac Ha markets and towns on our way to Sapa. Muddy paths will require sturdy footwear and extra preparation for the trekking to keep the shoes from breaking. There were some places in the area to clean your boots after trekking and they will be available when returning to the hotel. The trip was worth the try for everyone! Less
Everything ran very smoothly and with no problems. The treks were ok. We thoroughly enjoyed Bac Ha market, much more colour and diversity and the guide looked after us very well on our return to the train station.
On our trip to Sapa, the train arrived late to Lao Chac, so things were a bit rushed when we got to Sapa. Our guide was trying to get us out on trek before we had checked in.(Only a small point). There are too many tribes people in Sapa now. Spoiling it slightly.
great hotel location and trekking
first guide was good to the rice paddies) (and the second one was excellent and the third one to Bac Ha Market was ok). The bus guide and the rice paddy could explain more to us.
pick up from train station was slow (it took over 30 minutes to leave as they tried to crammore people into the bus). And then we had to turn around after leaving the town to pick up a random friend of the driver. The van was already over crowded and made the ride unenjoyable.

It allows understanding of culture and good experience. It was short but like a gem, full of wonderful experiences. Travelling among the Flower H'mong people in the market was wonderful. It is highly recommended or is there something similar in the area? The trekking in Sapa was also very good, however maybe over rated. It is a little touristy. Recommendation for people to bring ear buds or good set of noise cancelling headphones on the trains. However, some time towards the end of 2014 there would be roads to Lao Cai and Sapa. Yeah! Please let me know when Less
Maybe include one drink in the meal as there were no costs of drink list. People will drink more when the price are reasonable. Not a lot of food and very basic. Too much MSG.
