Tidal Nape Sea Caves

Tidal Nape Sea Caves is a cave system in Phang Nga Bay which is located between southern Thailand’s mainland and Phuket Island. This hidden lagoon and sea save system was discovered by John Gray in 1989. John Gray is affectionately known as “The Caveman” for his pioneering work in bringing the adventure sport of sea kayaking to the caves, lagoons, and hongs of Phang Nga Bay.

The excursion to discover the cave is often included in the day tour departing from Phuket. The tour guide will bring you through the Tidal Nape sea cave using the kayaks that were specially designed for the nature of the trip. The kayaks are handmade, but safe to explore the cave as there are no accidents reported. For each kayak, there will be 2 adults and 1 tour guide. On the way to the cave, you may see the sights of stunning limestone cliffs that stand erected in the middle of the ocean and sights of luscious green sceneries, and a lot of wild animals roaming the environment like macaque, egrets, mudskippers, water monitors, kingfishers, mud-skippers, egrets, sea eagles, and the brahminy kites. Exploring the Tidal Nape Sea Cave, you can admire beautiful stalactites formations that hang right above your head.
