The market is also the place where you can find fresh or dried fruit, vegetables, flowers, herbs, condiments, clothing, shoes, cosmetics, jewelry, lacquerware, silks, hemps, ceramics, wood carvings, beauty supplies, household appliances, electronic gadgets, sunglasses, watches, and fireworks…

In one part of the alley in Warorot Market, there is a section called "Trok Lao Zhou". It is the place where Hmong brings local products and handicrafts for sale daily from 7.00 am to 5.00 pm. Some people call this section as "Chinatown of Chiang Mai"

Warorot market is famous for its food section which is on the first floor. The market is full of delicious dishes. The most popular dishes in this market are sausage (sai oua), red and green chili dip (nam prik ong/nam prik noom), and crispy pork skin (cap moo), or grilled meats, ready-to-eat curries.  Watching the vendors preparing your food: chopping up meat, stuffing sausages, arranging them on the grill is really interesting. The entire basement and part of the first floor in the market turn into a huge open kitchen.

If you want to buy some casual clothes at a reasonable, Warorot Market is an ideal place. The price of the clothes here is inexpensive. However, like in most other markets in Asia, do not forget to bargain to have a better price.

The market is closed to the riverside and easy to find, just at the end of Chang Moi Road, east of the moat and north of Chiang Mai Night Bazaar.

Opening hours: 4 am to 6 pm. However, the best time to visit the market is 5 pm onwards to fully enjoy the culinary world at Warorot.
