Hope you're doing well! Sorry for the late response. I've added my rating, below. I've also just submitted a 5* review on TripAdvisor.
Overall, the trip was fantastic - very well planned and executed - thank-you so much!! I was very nervous about going to a different country and not speaking the language, but you and your team took such good care of us. Given everything that was included in our custom package, BestPrice Travel indeed offered very good value. After our custom tour, we joined a Mekong River cruise, and we told other fellow travellers about BestPrice Travel!
I wanted to give you a few other comments:
- all the guides were exceptional: it was wonderful to have Mr. Jerry greet us at the Hanoi airport upon arrival (such a good idea - thank-you!), and Jerry's walking street food tour was one of our trip highlights; we learned a lot from Mr. Tuan on the way from Hue to Da Nang to Hoi An; I really enjoyed Ms. Fi's Hue Imperial City tour (and you were right, the group tour was more fun); and my husband and our friend thought the DMZ private tour was amazing (they didn't know their guide's exact name unfortunately)
- the drivers and their vehicles were great - we especially liked Hip (Hue-Da Nang-Hoi An), we really appreciated all the driving our driver did between Hanoi and Ha Long Bay and back (I did not write down his name, very sorry), and we liked Hoa's SUV during the drive to My Son Sanctuary and around Hoi An
- the only driver where we felt a little unsafe was the Hanoi airport transfer #2 (Tues Jan 23)
- the accommodations were great - Hotel Tirant was in a great location, our rooms in Hue Eldora were luxurious, and the team at the Hoi An Delicacy was just simply wonderful
- the only exception is the Draco Hotel in Da Nang - Reception was not as friendly/attentive, the hallways and rooms were dark, our rooms could have been cleaner, the sink was awkward with water splashing everywhere, and our friend had a hard time with the step to get up to the bed level and down; however the view of the ocean from our rooms was great, and the breakfast buffet and rooftop pool bar were nice
- the seaplane scenic flightseeing over Ha Long Bay was another trip highlight
- Peony Cruises in Ha Long Bay - I enjoyed Mr. Lee's tai chi class; and dining room server, Andrew was amazing
Thank-you again for making possible such wonderful experiences in Vietnam. Less
It was a wise choice choosing Vietnam to visit. It not only has beautiful view in Danang, stunning landscapes in Quang Binh but also has so many cultural attractions in Hue and Hoi An.
1.Itinerary: 8/10... some things could have been added and others taken out, i also take into account that you can never make an itinerary 100% perfect as different guests will want to do and experience different things. overall it was pretty good!

2.Food/ Drink: 9/10... take out the buffet at Ba Na Hills, it was not good at all, everything else was wonderful.
3.Tour Guide: 10/10 for Tom.... 6/10 for Ba Na Hills/Hoi An..... 6/10 for Ho Chi Minh City. For me, Tom was beyond perfect, if i could have had him the entire trip i would have. It was a little disappointing to get the other two tour guides for the rest of the trip as they were not nearly as engaging or personable as Tom was. I felt Tom really went out of his way to make sure we had a good time ALL THE TIME. he adjusted the itinerary to what we wanted while also suggesting other things to do that he felt we needed to experience. When I come to Viet Nam next time I will request for Tom to be my tour guide for the entirety of the trip. He needs a raise immediately and he needs to be the lead trainer for all of the other tour guides in your company. Seriously, he was phenomenal and this should be mirrored by everyone else giving tours to visitors.
4.Accommodation:7/10.. again some places should be adjusted while others were perfect.. most likely personal preference here again though. For me Mai Chau was wonderful but the room was not as clean as I would like (several places with mold), same for the hotel in Da Nang as we had to move rooms due to bugs. personally I would opt for the luxury stay next time to avoid this. nothing at fault with the company. Trip to My Son ok, guide had a pretty heavy accent, I heard comments by other passengers that they couldn't understand hom. He was otherwise knowledgeable and personable.
