The distance from Hanoi to Halong Bay is about 170 km. It takes around 3.5 hours by shuttle bus, including haft-hour for break time. If you go to a private car, it takes around 3 hours. Alternatively, there is another route which only takes you about 2.5 hours. You can hire a car or buy a ticket for a VIP bus to travel from Hanoi city center to Halong Bay using the new Hanoi - Hai Phong highway. The distance between Hanoi - Halong shortens to 150km. Hi there, I am looking at the peony and genesis cruises, I like them both, I did message yesterday regarding vegetarian food on the peony cruise. Does Genesis cruise cater for vegetarians too? no meat and no seafood.

Hi The Sharing luxury van only pick-up/drop-off at the hotels located in Hanoi Old Quarter If you are at the Airport, we can arrange a private car pick you up and transfer you to the Hanoi Old Quarter, or transfer you directly to Halong Bay Cheers

Dear Sir or Madam, we are planning to get a Cruise from your website, the Stellar of the Seas, for 2D1N starting 12th August. We saw that you offer transfer services however only round trips from Hanoi. We are coming from Tam Coc (Ninh Binh) so we are wondering whether you also offer transfer services from Tam Coc to Halong Bay, and afterwards from Halong Bay to Hanoi. If not, could you give some advice whether the bus transport from Tam Coc is reliable for catching the Cruise at 12:00 pm? Thanks in advance for your help. David Yan
