Phu Quoc Island is an island located in the northwest of Kien Giang Province, with a lots of landscapes and historical sites including Phu Quoc National Park – an attractive address. This is one of Phu Quoc’s natural wonders that visitors can't help visiting when coming to this Pearl Island.
Phu Quoc National Park is located in the northeast of Phu Quoc Island, in the communes of Bai Thom, Cua Duong and Ham Ninh of Phu Quoc Island District, Kien Giang Province. This is one of the National Parks of the South Vietnam that still retain all the primary forest ecosystems. The area is up to 314.2 km2 , accounting for nearly 70% of Phu Quoc island area. It is divided into 3 main areas: strict protection area of 8,603 ha, ecological rehabilitation area of 22,603 ha, service and administration area of 33 ha. This National Park also includes a combined beauty of nature from forests, sea, streams, waterfalls and mountains. So it is well-knowns as a national center of biodiversity with a rich fauna and flora system.

If you have a chance to come to Phu Quoc National Park, do not miss the opportunity to explore Nui Chua (Núi Chúa) - the "roof" of Phu Quoc island with a height of 565 meters, located in Ham Ninh mountain range. Standing there, visitors can take a paranomic view of the whole National Park, from the forest to the sea. The green of the forest, the blue of the sea will all come in front of your eyes. Moreover, there are some outdoor activities that visitors can participate such as trekking, hiking, kayaking, and so on.

From Duong Dong town (Phu Quoc), tourists can ride along Duong Dong-Ham Ninh route, then come to Ham Ninh commune. After that, keep going 10 km to the north, you will reach the Phu Quoc National Park.
