Phu Quoc National Park is located in the northeast of Phu Quoc Island, in the communes of Bai Thom, Cua Duong and Ham Ninh of Phu Quoc Island District, Kien Giang Province. This is one of the National Parks of the South Vietnam that still retain all the primary forest ecosystems. The area is up to 314.2 km2 , accounting for nearly 70% of Phu Quoc island area. It is divided into 3 main areas: strict protection area of 8,603 ha, ecological rehabilitation area of 22,603 ha, service and administration area of 33 ha. This National Park also includes a combined beauty of nature from forests, sea, streams, waterfalls and mountains. So it is well-knowns as a national center of biodiversity with a rich fauna and flora system.

If you have a chance to come to Phu Quoc National Park, do not miss the opportunity to explore Nui Chua (Núi Chúa) - the "roof" of Phu Quoc island with a height of 565 meters, located in Ham Ninh mountain range. From Duong Dong town (Phu Quoc), tourists can ride along Duong Dong-Ham Ninh route, then come to Ham Ninh commune. After that, keep going 10 km to the north, you will reach the Phu Quoc National Park.
