In the afternoon, we head to My Son Sanctuary for the visit to the ancient Champa kingdom. It is located 40 kilometers from Hoi An ancient town, you will need more than 1 hour to get there from Hoian. The tour to My son starts around 14:00, you will be crossing the Cua Dai bridge, and the local fishing village, which is the chance to enjoy the spectacular views of the Hoian river system, mountains, and Cham Islands.

The sanctuary is one of the most beautiful and famous temple complexes in Southeast Asia, which is often compared with other historical temples in Southeast Asia such as Bagan of Myanmar, Angkor Wat of Cambodia, Borobudur of Java in Indonesia, or Ayutthaya of Thailand. The complex includes more than 70 Hindu structures and mainly temples and towers, which were built by Cham Kings to commemorate important events during their reign.
