3. Cam Ly Waterfall

Cam Ly waterfall is the closest to the centre of Dalat as it is located on Hoang Van Thu Street, only about 2km west of the city. The fall is roughly 10 meters high, which is not particularly high in comparison to other Dalat waterfalls, and it has very gentle flows. The panorama view is particularly remarkable because it encompasses not only the beauty of the waterfall but also the perspective of the surrounding large pine forest, however, the waterfall has an unpleasant smell that needs to be more maintained.

Cam Ly waterfall is small yet beautiful and convenient to have an escape trip to nature, especially if you don’t have much time but it’s not a highly recommended waterfall to visit.

4. Elephant Waterfall

Elephant Waterfall is known as one of the most beautiful Dalat waterfalls. Elephant is named for a massive rock that is said to resemble an elephant's head. The falls are located in a valley near Nam Ban village, nearly 30 kilometres from Da Lat's city center, at the bottom of a picturesque mountain pass. With a height of over 30 meters and a width of over 40 meters, it is one of the few waterfalls still in the wild and natural state, free from any artificial beauty.

The falls are tremendous and can be seen from the top and bottom. To reach the waterfall, visitors either take the uneven stone-stair path or go underneath the waterfall through a little tunnel, or for a part of the adventure, be prepared to be splashed by the misty streams pouring down the cascades. Bear in mind that the trail is extremely slippery due to the mossy rocks so be cautious.

5. Datanla Waterfalls

Datanla waterfall is located quite near to the city centre, about 6 kilometres or 10 minutes driving from Dalat City, you can easily drive here on a rented motorbike, bicycle or even on foot, just stick to Highway 20 a few kilometres south of Dalat, the entrance to Dal is on the right. The Datanla Waterfalls are one of Da Lat's most popular attractions, with a variety of recreational activities. 6. Dambri Waterfall

Dambri Waterfall is the furthest site to the city center among other Dalat waterfalls. Located 130 kilometers, it is a majestic sight with a height of about 70 meters and more than 30 meters wide. The splendor and magnificence of the Central Highlands' forests will captivate you as you walk around the waterfall, which is surrounded by a beautiful green woodland encompassing nearly 300 hectares. It boasts flora and an ecosystem that is incredibly diversified and unique.

According to folklore, the waterfall was formed by a woman's endless tears as she awaited her lover's return from the woods. But he never returned so the woman died of sorrow, her body turning to rock, and her tears continuing to flow to this day.

Dambri waterfalls are the major spot of Vietnamese domestic tourism, it’s very crowded with excited Vietnamese teenagers during weekends and holidays, therefore it’s better to come here on the weekdays. The entrance fee is higher than other Dalat waterfalls however it includes sightseeing; elevator, swan pedal boat, Alpine Coaster, and many other activities.

7. Tiger Cave Waterfall (Thac Hang Cop)

Tiger Cave waterfall is quite a unique attraction that is situated deep in the pine forest covering an area of 308 hectares. It was built as a tourist attraction some time ago, however, it is now deserted. The locals named the Tiger Cave Waterfall because it has a massive cave at the bottom where a tiger was trapped. 

The waterfall is 25 meters high and 10 meters wide from afar, and it appears spectacular. The water flow is intense at the foot of the waterfall, resulting in a dense mist covering the region. To get to the waterfall, stay on national road 20 and head to Xuan Tho commune. Take a turn and follow the road at km-post No. 13 and continue for another 2,7 kilometers until you see the waterfall.

8. Jraiblian Waterfall (Bao Dai Waterfall)

At approximately 70 meters high and 100 meters wide, Bao Dai Waterfall is the largest and most fantastic among the list of gorgeous Dalat waterfalls. Situated remotely from the city center, about 50 kilometers away, Bao Dai waterfall is surrounded by the dense jungle of Ta In forest that creates a distinguished glamorous atmosphere. Jraibilan means "high waterfall" in Churu, however, it is also known as Bao Dai waterfall since Bao Dai King used to stop here to relax during his hunting trip.

9. Pang Tieng Waterfall

Pang Tieng Waterfall is located around 25 kilometers north of Dalat city in the natural forest of Lat commune, Lac Duong District, Lam Dong Province.

Pang Tien waterfall is also known as a seven-story waterfall which is a pristine attraction and since this site is not as well-known as other Dalat waterfalls, Pang Tieng itself and its surroundings have remained untouched. To reach this stunning waterfall, you must travel approximately 10 kilometers on a red dirt road and cross the hillside's extremely high steep slopes. Leaving the tough route behind, travelers will be immersed in the wilderness of nature, as the Pang Tieng waterfall is surrounded by a primeval forest with few human footprints.

10. Bo Bla Waterfall

Bo Bla Waterfall is 80 kilometres southwest of Dalat on Highway 20. This waterfall was formerly a major tourist destination for Vietnamese tour groups, but with its bushes-covered stairways, feels like its glory days are over, and this once-popular place has been forgotten. Unlike other Dalat waterfalls, Bo Bla Fall creates an exotic vibe as it hides in the dense forest, no tourists crowds, and perfect for travellers who prefer to immerse themselves in the natural beauty of the site.
