Silver Waterfall Sapa

Silver Waterfall is about 200 meters high, which is upstream of Muong Hoa stream, located at the foot of O Quy pass, about 12 km from Sapa town. It takes about 30 minutes by motorbike or bus, tourists can admire one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Sapa. Standing by the Silver waterfall, we can see the roaring water stream, white bubbles along with the sound of the waterfall rushing down the mountain, creating an extremely wild and mysterious feeling.

After climbing stone steps to reach the top of this waterfall, visitors can see the majestic scenery of nature. Then, you can go down to the foot of the waterfall to enjoy the delicacies of Sapa such as baked eggs, forest birds, village pigs, etc. After eating and resting to recharge, visitors can continue the journey to the O Quy Ho, which is the highest mountain pass in Vietnam.

On sunny days, standing on Ham Rong Mountain, tourists can admire the water of Sliver Waterfall flowing down looked like sliver from afar. That is also one of the reasons why the locals here call this waterfall the name “Silver Waterfall”. In winter, the Silver Waterfalls area is one of the thickest snowfall places in Sapa. In 2013, this area was covered by over 15cm thick snow.
