The ancient village nestled at the foot of the Ham Ninh mountain range, with mountains and forests at the back and the immense sea at the front.

The fishing village still retains its simplicity and pristine condition, which has not been affected much by tourism activities. Local people here live on sea fishing, crab and shrimp catching, and nudibranchs and pearl catching. Houses here remain primitive features with cottage roofs and bamboo wattles.

2. Hon Thom fishing village

Another famous fishing village in Phu Quoc is Hon Thom fishing village, located in An Thoi archipelago, 30 minutes from An Thoi port. The fishing village is not large, but it has significant potential in developing tourism and aquaculture.

After 30 minutes of traveling by boat from An Thoi port, you will arrive at Hon Thom Island which has beautiful sceneries. The island owns fine yellow sand, coconut trees running along the crystal-clear seawater beach. Ganh Dau fishing village is a small and untouched village with deep blue sea and smooth yellow sand in Chuong Vich, Ganh Dau, Phu Quoc. It is about 20 kilometers from the center of Duong Dong town.

Coming here, tourists will feel surprised because of the combination of mountains, forests, sea, and friendly local people. The landscape in Ganh Dau Cape is peaceful with crystal sea, smooth yellow sand, and rock rapids in various shapes. The crescent-shaped beach is surrounded by palm forests.

Rach Tram fishing village is located in the north, the furthest place on Phu Quoc island, so it is almost separate from everything outside. After overcoming the hard road to the village, you will see beautiful and unspoiled, and peaceful Rach Tram village. The fishing village of Rach Tram used to be the residence of Cambodian people who crossed the border to Vietnam, but now there are only a few households in the village.

Cua Can fishing village is located in the north and about 14 km from Duong Dong town, a few kilometers from Ong Lang beach. It is a small, and peaceful village beside a secluded beach.

Coming to this beautiful fishing village, visitors can take a walk on Cua Can River and admire the scenery. Moreover, you can go fishing with fishermen to enjoy the sea scenery and learn about the daily life of coastal fishermen, or just admire the large and small trains returning to the mainland filled with fish and shrimp.
