We actually had several problems regarding languages, flights, and accommodations when we first came to Vietnam on our own. Then my wife and I decided to search for a week-long tour to enjoy our honeymoon. And it was fantastic! I changed my mind about Vietnam right away.
Khanh was our tour guide in the first few days and made us fall in love with Vietnam. She knew every alley in Hanoi and guided us through a lot of great sidewalk restaurants in Hanoi. We learned to enjoy the hustle and bustle of the city and cross the crazy streets here, thanks to Khanh. We had a lot of fun in Hanoi.
Getting away from the city and enjoying a change of pace is a really exciting experience. We visited Ninh Binh and found peace of mind here. We cruised across a calming river and took a lot of stunning portraits of our own. Cycling through golden rice fields was top-notch. At the end of the day, we still had a lot of time to sit back and relax before getting to other places.
Kayaking, swimming, discovering the biggest caves in Halong Bay were also eye-opening experiences, although this was the second time we visited the bay. Everything was different when we packed on this trip, it allowed us to explore Vietnam in a more authentic and insightful way.
Hoi An and Danang were great places to join in activities that are tailored for couples. We had some traditional handicraft workshops and explored the town on bikes. Overall, the tour gives us an unforgettable experience in Vietnam.
