- More than 21 days before check-in: FREE of charge
- From 11 to 20 days before check-in: 30% of total rates
- From 7 to 10 days before check-in: 50% of total rates
- Less than 7 days before check-in & no Show: 100% of total rates
If the cancellation be announced by the Management Board of Halong Bay, depend on the timing of the cancellation, following policies will be applied:
- Before departure from Hanoi to Halong Bay (none of the services has been used): 100% refund.
- During the trip (some services have been used: transfer, lunch, day trip, hotel in Halong, etc.): used services will be charged, the rest will be refunded.
- The trip be cut down from 2 nights to 1 night, tourists will be charged a 2 days/1 night trip, plus other used services, the rest will be refunded.
- The final cost will be confirmed by your consultant via email. In all cases, please contact us directly for any urgent help. We are here to support you with all of our best!

7.5 hours: Hanoi - Halong Bay - Sung Sot Cave - Luon Cave - Titop Island
Morning
Welcome to our Amethyst Cruise! You will meet your shuttle bus (book in the next step with an additional fee) and driver at your hotel around Hanoi Old Quarter. The meeting time is around 7:00.
Upon arriving at Lot. 27 Tuan Chau Harbor, guests will check in and board the Amethyst Day Cruise for a journey to discover the World Heritage Halong Bay at 10:00.
After 30 minutes, enjoy a welcome drink as the cruise departs from Tuan Chau Harbor while passing through the legendary bay with thousands of limestone islands, such as Dog Rock, Duck Rock, and Thumb Rock.
Indulge in a huge buffet lunch featuring an array of dishes including seafood and traditional Vietnamese food.
Afternoon
In the early afternoon, explore Sung Sot Cave, the largest and most beautiful cave in Halong Bay. The cave is divided into two main chambers, with the first chamber being the larger of the two and containing various formations resembling animals, plants, and objects.
After 1 hour of cave visiting, move to Luon Cave for kayaking in about 30 minutes. You'll find a large, circular lake with crystal-clear water and breathtaking views of the surrounding limestone cliffs.
Then visit Titov Island, which features a beautiful sandy beach, clear blue water, and stunning panoramic views of Halong Bay. You can climb to the top of the island's hill for a breathtaking view or enjoy swimming and sunbathing on the beach.
Finally, return to the cruise and get ready for the Sunset Party, where Vietnamese tea, coffee, fresh fruits, and snacks will be served while guests relax on the sundeck or in the Jacuzzi. On the way back, the cruise will pass by the Hoa Cuong area, one of the most beautiful spots in the bay.

Amethyst Cruise is a good choice for a 5-star day cruise in Halong Bay, suitable for tourists who don’t have much time to travel. As the cruise is newly launched, both the interior and exterior are new. We appreciate the staff and services, which is one of the cruise’s strong points. A long trip with a duration of up to 7.5 hours enables explorers to catch a glance at this wonderful heritage site.
Facilities & Amenities - 9.8/10
With a total of 3 decks, the cruise’s capacity is huge - about 100 people onboard. The 1st and 2nd decks are restaurants with classy designs of Eastern and Western style, and large glass windows provide vast Halong views for guests while they enjoy their meals.
The 2nd deck also has balconies to admire the bay, all balustrades are made of glass, which gives a better experience onboard. The sundeck is a wonderful place to unwind, having a Jacuzzi and delicate lounges.

We are planning to stay back at halong for the night. Is it possible to take all our luggage from hanoi with us and keep it at your office till evening ?

Hi! In that case, we suggest you should leave your luggage at the receptionist of your hotel in Hanoi. Amethyst isn't an overnight cruise, it's a day cruise and you can return to Hanoi in the afternoon. Also, Amethyst office is in Hanoi.

You can stay in Halong for 1 night then next day for cruise so you don't need to leave Hanoi Early. The cruise capacity max 99 passengers. Current rate for day cruise without transfer is 62 USD/pax.

The ships are fantastic and give off a luxurious experience, and the cuisine was delicious. Staff were all nice, especially Mr. Nhu Y, and the lady guide, whose name I forget. Both were extremely interesting. I would suggest this cruise and program to anybody visiting Vietnam.
The cruise was incredible. It was a wonderful trip to Halong Bay with my hubby. Rosie, the tour guide, was kind and spoke English well enough to explain and convey. The cruise is really clean and excellent. Recommend. Food is good. The view is amazing. Lovely.

We were pretty pleased with our trip. The team is both nice and professional. The cruise is quite new and modern. The buffet meal is rated 7/10 because it is often oily. However, the buffet is diversified, with a strong emphasis on seafood. The timetable was tight yet effective, allowing us to visit multiple locations in one day:) We would recommend this trip to others!
