The ship was extremely pleasant in its public areas. Even though it was hot outside. The open-air balcony was pretty comfortable, the evening cocktails were excellent, and the dining room was both comfy and air-conditioned.

The food was superb, with a variety of dishes; I was impressed by the onboard chef's culinary skills.
The itinerary was perfect. We were onboard with some international tourists. All was excited about the fascinating places and cultural activities. This cruise allows you to experience a very authentic and natural Vietnam.
Overall, this cruise is not for those looking for luxurious state rooms, but if you want a truly local experience and high-quality service on a river boat, you will like Pandaw Cruise. Less

The food was excellent, with a variety of options at each meal; I was impressed by the onboard chef's culinary skills. Excursions were of high quality, and we were frequently the only international visitors at most sites, including several UNESCO sites and cultural activities. Other passengers included guests from the United Kingdom, Australia, Europe, and a small number from the United States. They were all extremely well-traveled, with many visiting fascinating and adventurous places. They are travelers' travelers. This cruise allows you to see a very real, up-close, and unfiltered Vietnam. The views ranged from spectacular to industrial, with garbage littering the riverbanks. If you want caviar and opulent state rooms, this cruise is not for you; however, if you want an authentic experience with a high level of friendly service on a charming river boat, you will enjoy it. A wonderful ten-day cruise along the Red River in Vietnam included excellent food, attentive service, and accommodations. We will definitely take more cruises with Pandaw after this one. The boat was really cozy and well-maintained. It was a laid-back vibe that encouraged meeting new people and talking about previous trips.
There was always an excessive amount of food! In the sundeck bar, we were served delicious drinks, company, stories, and serene wisdom. He always had surprise cocktails for Happy Hour every night and pre-dinner nibbles (as if you needed them!).

The entire staff was very kind, accommodating, and indulgent toward the visitors. A small scrape received the same attention, care, and monitoring as a major surgery!
Like our rooms with their big beds, desks, and ensuite bathrooms, the ship was exquisite with its polished red wood and immaculate condition.
Being on this ship does require you to be somewhat physically fit, as there are stairs and shore excursions that involve walking or climbing into other boats, canoes, or even cyclos. Without a doubt, I will be back for another cruise with them. Less
