The bus is the most popular way to travel short distances. However, around 900km from Ho Chi Minh to Hoi An is absolutely not a short distance, so if you are considering choosing a bus as the transportation for this route, think about it thoroughly. 

Most of the buses travelling this route are sleeper buses. There are 2 options for you to consider: regular sleeper bus and cabin sleeper bus.
