Morning/ Afternoon
Today, our knowledgeable tour guide will meet you for a half-day city tour. The half-day city tour will begin at either 08:00 or 13:00, depending on tour availability.
Our first stop is the Temple of Literature, which is considered Vietnam's first university and a symbol of the profound influence of Confucianism on the country's history and culture.
Then, we will move to the One Pillar Pagoda, where you can marvel at its unique architecture, and Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the final resting place of the revered Vietnamese leader who fought for the country's independence.
NOTE: The mausoleum is temporarily closed on Mon and Fri every week & from Jun - Aug every year.

After that, head to West Lake and Tran Quoc Pagoda, situated near the Ho Chi Minh Complex, West Lake is regarded as the lung of Hanoi and is surrounded by numerous impressive and valuable historical landmarks. The 1500-year Tran Quoc Pagoda is situated right on the West Lake and is one of the most significant Buddhist constructions in Vietnam.

Conclude the tour with a delectable traditional lunch at a local restaurant.
Spend the remainder of the day at your own pace, with the opportunity to join an optional activity for added discovery.
Option 1: Bat Trang by Jeep Half-Day Tour
Your adventure begins with a hotel pick-up in Hanoi Old Quarter before setting off in a vintage Jeep. Leaving the busy city streets behind, you’ll cross the Red River and follow scenic backroads through peaceful countryside, passing farmlands and small villages while learning about local life along the way.
The journey takes you to Bat Trang, Vietnam’s most famous ceramic village with a history of over a thousand years. Explore its maze of narrow alleys filled with artisan workshops, discover traditional techniques, and join a hands-on pottery class where you’ll create your own ceramic piece as a special souvenir.
Depending on the tour schedule, you’ll also enjoy a wholesome Vietnamese meal made with fresh, organic ingredients.
Option 2: Manh Farm Tour and Cooking Class in Hanoi Half Day
Leaving the bustle of Hanoi behind, you’ll travel west to a traditional village with a market that has existed since the Le Dynasty in 1428.
On market days, the atmosphere is especially lively as villagers gather to trade everything from farm animals to handmade goods, while off-market days still offer plenty of local products such as fresh fish, vegetables, fruits, and daily essentials. Strolling through the stalls under ancient trees, you’ll meet friendly locals, see traditional crafts, and catch a glimpse of rural life unchanged for generations.
Just beside the market are fertile vegetable fields and fruit gardens where farmers grow a wide variety of produce, from bitter melon, corn, and cabbage to papaya, guava, and bananas. Walking through the fields, you may even join a farmer at work and learn about their cultivation methods and lifestyle.
The experience continues at a local home, where you’ll be welcomed into the kitchen for a cooking session. With your host’s guidance, you’ll prepare four traditional Vietnamese dishes using fresh ingredients from the market and garden.
Afterward, sit down together to enjoy the meal, accompanied by fresh fruit, traditional cakes, tea, and local drinks, while learning more about family customs and village traditions.

The highlight of the trip was the Halong Bay cruise tour in 3 days 2 nights where we got to see the breathtaking limestone cliffs and the emerald waters of the bay. The Scarlet Pearl cruise was modern, new and the food was fantastic.
Moving on to Hue city tour, we got to explore the imperial citadel of the Nguyen dynasty. The tour guide gave us a detailed insight into the history of the city and its significance in the country's culture.
Next, we visited the charming town of Hoi An which was my personal favorite. The ancient town is filled with traditional architecture, colorful lanterns. We also got to try some mouth-watering local food.
Finally, the Ba Na Hill Cable car ride was a thrilling experience. The views from the top were breathtaking, and we got to explore the Golden Bridge which was truly unique. Less

We had a wonderful time in Vietnam!
Nam in Hanoi was excellent and knowledgeable.
Halong Bay was beautiful but the boat was average.
Xi in Hue was exceptional! So thoughtful, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful! She went above and beyond and we appreciate everything she did for us and taught us. She made an effort to get the kids involved and made it so fun for them. She took the time to talk to the grandparents and made sure to take care of them. All her food suggestions and tips were perfect. She made the trip so memorable. The driver was so sweet and considerate too!
Hoi A was interesting with a beautiful landscape. Although the hotel grounds were lovely, the hotel rooms itself was average.
The basket boat tour was surprisingly a lot more entertaining than expected and the kids had a lot fun. Our guide was also great and he gave a couple of good suggestions.
Overall, it was a great itinerary and all the tour guides and drivers were really wonderful.
I’m so happy with your service and recommend your company! I truly appreciated all the time and communication you provided!
We already miss your beautiful country!
Again, thank you for everything!

A very well-planned and organized tour. Traveling to North and Central Vietnam was absolutely one of the most enjoyable experiences I had in Vietnam. Both the tour guide and the drivers were very professional and informative. Excellent investment!
