Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat International Airport, our guide will welcome you then you will be transferred directly to your hotel in Ho Chi Minh.

• The airport may be crowded during the day, so be present at Pole No.10 (Outside the Terminal gate) for our guide to find you or contact us, in case you cannot find our representatives.
• Check-in time is due at 14:00 daily (Early check-in comes with an extra charge).

Have breakfast in your hotel. Choose departure time at 08:00 - 08:30 or 13:00 - 13:30, whenever is convenient for your family to take a tour of must-see attractions in Saigon:

• War Remnants Museum: An educational place for children with more than 20,000 documents, artifacts, and films about evidence of crimes and the consequences of the Vietnam wars.
• Visit Reunification Palace, once the residence of the President of the Republic of Vietnam and now the symbol of Saigon Liberation.
• Sightseeing at Saigon Notre Dame Cathedral, a must-visit spot for its ancient beauty and elegant structure.
• Go through the Old Post Office, a symbol of classical French colonial architecture, which is still open to this day.

NOTE: The cathedral is temporarily closed for renovation.

End the trip with a visit to a local market to buy some fascinating gifts for your kids.

Get back to your hotel. Your family is free for the rest of the day to explore the active Ho Chi Minh City.

08:00: Mekong Ecolodge boat picks you up at Cai Be tourist pier, be ready for a trip to explore the authentic Mekong Delta with various family-friendly activities:

• The first stop is Cai Be market and Com candy craft village, where your children will be excited to see the production process of candy nuggets and try freshly baked sweet nuggets. 
• The next destination is the bee farm. Time to enjoy sweet honey tea.
• Travel to Tan Phong Island to experience garden tourism and visit local specialty fruit gardens such as durian, rambutan, longan, jackfruit, etc.
• Next, visit Uncle 5 On's house to participate in the garden folk music exchange with local artists and enjoy a cup of tea, and welcome fruit from the host.

Afternoon

Let your kids explore the lodge campus to see fruit & colorful flower gardens. Here, guests can pick and eat fruits for free on the spot such as apples, guavas, toads, To Nu jackfruit, etc.

~ 16:00: Take your fantastic trip to a new level with different exciting activities suitable for families with teenagers:

• Slapping the ditch and working together to catch fish barehand.
• Going to the garden to pick vegetables to prepare for dinner. 
• Work with our chef at Mekong Ecolodge to prepare dishes from the vegetables and fish you catch.

Enjoy a delicious dinner after an active day. Stay overnight in the Ecolodge.

8:00: Get on bicycles to start a family journey of discovery and participate in activities with the people on Tan Phong Island: 

• First, we go to Sister 3's house to see the process of making rice paper rolls, then go to Aunt 4's house to see how to knit a hammock with banana rope, 
• Go to Thao's house to learn how to knit water hyacinth, your family can try to knit one together and then receive beautiful gifts with the guidance of Ms. Thao.
• Visit Ms. Hieu's house to see the process of making nail files with bamboo sticks with locally available materials. 
• Cycled back to Ecolodge to participate in making jackfruit leaf cake with the guidance of Ms. Tam and enjoy them together. The cake is said to be a specialty of Tan Phong Island.

12:00: Take the ferry in Tan Phong with local people to the Hiep Duc ferry station.

Go through the Tien River.

Pick up by car at the opposite side and transfer to your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City and relax.

Enjoy your free time in Ho Chi Minh City and prepare your luggage.

• Cycle to a charming herb village that lies on the edge of Hoi An. Admire the awesome farming life and learn about Vietnamese long-lasting farming history and experience.
• Get a real insight into the hardship of growing vegetables by joining local farmers in their daily tasks.
• Visit Cam Thanh Eco village, a charming place famous for its scented vegetables that spice up local dishes. Upon arrival, take a tour of the vegetable gardens.

11:30 - 12:00: You will embark on the cruise and enjoy the welcome drink from the crew staff.

Enjoy a delicious local seafood lunch served on board while admiring thousands of majestic limestone islands and grottoes.

Afternoon

Start your exploration around the area's breathtaking natural beauty. Depending on each cruise, you will join various activities to discover the bay's beauty, such as visiting a cave, kayaking, or swimming.

Get back to the junk for relaxing and watching the beautiful sunset view on the bay or join a cooking class.

Have dinner and stay overnight on board.

You can join many fun activities at night together, like squid fishing, karaoke, etc. (following each cruise’s facilities).

Early risers can enjoy a memorable sunrise over the karst formations of Halong Bay while practicing Tai Chi on the sundeck.

Explore the bay further by kayaking or getting on a rowing boat, which will be interesting for your children.
