The entire journey was beautifully organized by Hangmoon, who was absolutely fantastic throughout the planning and execution of the trip. I couldn’t fill out the original survey, so I’m writing here instead—and I’m so glad I get the chance to express our gratitude publicly.

From the moment we landed in Ho Chi Minh City, everything ran like clockwork. All the arrangements were smooth and stress-free, allowing us to focus completely on enjoying the experience. Our time in Ho Chi Minh was excellent—vibrant, exciting, and well-paced. Hanoi was equally impressive, full of energy and charm, and we found ourselves falling in love with its old-world elegance. Our visit to Hue was incredibly insightful, especially with the background our guide provided on Buddhism. The journey along the coastal road from Hue to Hoi An was absolutely breathtaking, one of the most scenic drives we’ve ever done, and our time in Hoi An itself was magical.
Halong Bay, while still a highlight, was slightly less impressive in comparison to the other destinations, but it still offered stunning views and a unique atmosphere—an easy 8/10.
Cambodia was another major highlight. Our stay in Siem Reap exceeded expectations, with its magnificent temples and deep cultural heritage. Every day felt like a discovery.
We were especially lucky with our tour guides. Miss Vy in Vietnam was outstanding—her passion for her country and her depth of knowledge made every moment richer. Mr. Rittin in Siem Reap was equally excellent, not only guiding us to all the best photo spots but even sharing clever camera tricks that helped us capture the trip in new ways. In Hanoi, Mr. Trung brought everything to life with humor and insight, making our time there incredibly enjoyable. We also had a wonderful guide in Hue, whose name I sadly can’t recall, but his knowledge left a lasting impression. And finally, Lee, who accompanied us from Hue to Hoi An, was incredibly helpful and made sure everything in Hoi An went smoothly.
The food and drink along the way were also excellent. There was a great variety, and we really enjoyed the chance to sample so many local flavors—I'd rate the food experience a solid 9 out of 10.
All in all, this was a trip of a lifetime. The organization, the guides, the destinations—everything came together perfectly. It was an adventure filled with culture, beauty, and comfort. I’ve already recommended Hangmoon to several friends, and I’ll continue to do so. If you're planning to explore Vietnam and Cambodia, look no further. You’ll be in great hands. Less
Thank you Ms. Rosie! Our time in Vietnam and Cambodia has been really nice. All of the tour guides we've had were very friendly and knowledgable about the places we were visiting and answered all of our questions. The drivers were also very nice and friendly to us.

We really enjoyed our time here in Cambodia. Our guide and driver have done an exceptional job, especially with making sure we were refreshed and had enough water because it's very hot here in Cambodia. We really appreciated them for their care Less

itinerary: Very good 8/10. But we had too many nights in both Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi. 3 nights in each place would have been enough.

Heritage Line cruise was brilliant. Peony cruise, not as good. We should have chosen Heritage Line for Halong Bay too. And probably only 1 night not 2. Excursions on Peony cruise not suited to older people especially in the wet weather. On Peony Cruise, a man burst into our cabin while we were there. He used his key. Sandra and I spoke with cruise management but got no real answer about how this could happen. This was not fun for us.
Food and drink.. Excellent 10/10. A good selection including enough western style choices
Tour Guide.. Excellent 10/10 all tour guides were knowledgeable, friendly, efficient and helpful. Tom in Hanoi was brilliant!
Accommodation.. Could improve 7/10 .. Ho Chi Minh city - we would have paid more to be in a better location. e.g. Easy walking distance to river, nice place to walk, not through the traffic and a window with a nice view.. Not just street below. Similar issues with Hanoi. Walking through the heavy traffic for older people is a big challenge! We spent more hours than we thought in the room because of the heat. With no view out of window we felt closed in.
The surfaces in our room in Hanoi were not clean enough. Less
