FAQs

Vietnam is an excellent choice for a budget tour due to several compelling reasons:

  • Affordable Accommodation: Vietnam offers budget-friendly accommodations like hostels, guesthouses, and budget hotels, providing comfortable and clean stays at affordable prices ranging from $5 to $60 per night.
  • Delicious Food: Vietnamese cuisine is known for its diverse flavors and affordable prices. Whether you choose street food stalls or local eateries, you can enjoy delicious dishes at reasonable prices ranging from $1 to $20 per meal.
  • Affordable Transportation: Getting around Vietnam is relatively inexpensive, with options like buses ($2 - $10), trains and local transportation ($1 - $3) readily available. Domestic flights within Vietnam can also be affordable ($30 - $100+), especially when booked in advance or during promotional periods.
  • Bargaining Opportunities: Bargaining is common in Vietnam, particularly in local markets and street vendors where you can negotiate and secure better deals.

For a budget trip in Vietnam, the average cost ranges from $70 to $110 per person per day, depending on whether the tour includes flights and the standard of a 2-star hotel.

  • Short tours of 5-7 days without flights typically cost around $70-80 per person/day.
  • Longer tours with flights can range from $100 to $110 per person/day.

When planning your budget trip to Vietnam, it's important to consider the duration of your tour, inclusions (such as flights and accommodations), and your preferred level of comfort.

Here are some tips to help you find excellent deals on Vietnam tours:

With adventour tour you have to stay in homestay in some place because you have to do trekking and there is no hotel there. In some place can change to 2 star hotel to you

Hi, We are going to join the train tour. I read that we'll take an overnight train to Lao Cai. Is it possible to fit 5 of us - 2 adults and 3 small kids aged 3, 5, and 8 in one compartment?

I really like the budget tours available here. But can I change the long-haul train journey to an hour flight? I want to get from North to Central in the fastest way and taking the train is exhausting.
