This morning, you’ll be picked up from your hotel in Hanoi’s Old Quarter between 7:30 and 8:00 AM. Settle in for a comfortable drive to Ninh Binh, where the city gradually gives way to peaceful countryside. Along the way, you’ll pass rice fields, local villages, and may even spot water buffalo grazing - so keep your camera handy.

Your first stop is Tam Coc, often referred to as “Halong Bay on land.” Here, you’ll enjoy a relaxing two-hour boat ride along the Ngo Dong River, rowed by local boatmen in traditional sampans. Glide past dramatic limestone karsts, lush rice paddies, and through a series of natural caves - an unforgettable and tranquil experience.

Start with a scenic boat ride along the Perfume River, offering a relaxing introduction to the city. Your first stop is the iconic Thien Mu Pagoda, known for its seven-story tower and peaceful setting.

Next, visit the impressive Hue Imperial Citadel, once the political and cultural center of Vietnam’s last dynasty. Walk through grand gates, courtyards, and gardens that were once reserved for emperors and royal families.

Continue to the Long An Palace, where you’ll see a collection of royal artifacts offering insight into imperial life. Then, experience the energy of Dong Ba Market, where locals shop for everything from fresh produce to traditional goods.

Your day begins around 8:00 AM at the meeting point, where you’ll meet your guide. From here, travel by minivan to Tra Que Vegetable Village, a peaceful farming community just outside Hoi An.

Take a walk through the lush gardens, where local farmers cultivate herbs and vegetables using traditional methods. It’s a great opportunity to see daily life in the countryside and learn about the ingredients used in Vietnamese cooking.

Start your day early with pickup from your hotel in Siem Reap as you head out to explore the legendary Angkor temple complex.

Your first stop is Angkor Thom, entering through the impressive South Gate lined with massive stone faces. Inside, visit the iconic Bayon Temple, known for its dozens of serene, smiling faces carved into towering stone structures. Nearby, walk along the historic Terrace of the Elephants, once used for royal ceremonies and public events.

After breakfast, set out on a scenic drive (about 22 miles / 35 km) northeast of Siem Reap to visit the beautifully preserved Banteay Srei.
