We are happy with almost everything - knowledgeable tour guides, appetizing food, stunning nature, and a well-planned excursion for 16 days straight! For specific:
1. Itinerary (9.5/10). We traveled through a lot of places on our bikes, and it was not energy-draining. There was enough free time for us to sit back and just enjoy the beautiful nature in Vietnam. This 2-week trip allowed us to explore all of Vietnam’s essential natural sights and the exciting local life off-the-beaten track. And it would be perfect if there are more activities on the Halong Bay cruise for us to partake in.
2. Activity (10/10). Besides pedaling through some of the region’s most attractive destinations, we also have joined a wide variety of adventurous activities. Visiting magnificent caves, cycling down the rough terrain, kayaking in Halong Bay, motorbiking through Hai Van Pass, etc. It was a hair-raising and exciting experience! We would definitely come back to Vietnam for these experiences.
3. Food (9.5/10). Vietnam is genuinely a foodie paradise. We tried a wide range of local cuisines in each and every city we passed through, and it was just so good.
4. Accommodation (8.5/10). Overall, it was good, the rooms were comfortable and the hotels had excellent views to observe the city’s most stunning attractions. One minor issue was that the hotel in Hue was far from the city center and the staff was not so nice.
5. Tour guides (10/10). Nam and Bach were the best tour guides on this trip. They are exceptionally informative, knowledgeable and caring. Water bottles and phone chargers were provided at all times, just ask them nicely :)
Overall, it was a wonderful trip. My friends and I were so satisfied and had so much fun. Would definitely recommend it to anyone seeking an authentic adventure in Vietnam.
