Upon arrival at Siem Reap International Airport, the driver transfer you to the hotel for checking in.

In the afternoon, we visit Tonle Sap Lake, which is influenced by the floating communities on the river, creating a poetic and lyrical landscape in combination with the most lively ecosystems. 

There are houses with many different types of wildlife around the lakes so seeing the floating villages, birds and locals will be a peaceful atmosphere for you. 

Staying overnight at your hotel in Siem Reap

Morning

After eating breakfast at the hotel, the first attraction today is the ancient capital of Angkor Thom (12th century)

See the South Gate and Bayon Temple, like a bunch of random stonework, rather than the exquisite architecture of Angkor Wat. Once inside, you'll find that the interior is a three-story labyrinth of galleries, towers, and passages.

Then move to visit Ta Prohm, one of the most beautiful temples in the area has been left relatively untouched since it was discovered and retains much of its mystery.

Lunch is served at a local restaurant.

Afternoon

Discover the World Heritage of Angkor Wat (Mid 12th century), the temple complex covers 81 hectares and was built by Suryavarman II. The temple is one of the largest monuments to religion ever built and is truly one of the wonders of the world. 

Continue walking to the top of Bakheng Hill to enjoy the sunset and Angkor Temple view.

Morning

Savor breakfast at the hotel and prepare for an upcoming full-day trip. 

Explore Banteay Srey Temple (35km), the most beautiful one of all temples in Cambodia that was built in the 10th century by Brahman. This temple is 18km distant from Siem Reap town, and it takes half an hour to drive to get there. 

After visiting Banteay Srey Temple, move back to visit Banteay Samre. Built by Suryavarman II, it was named after the Samre, an ethnic tribe that inhabited the regions at the base of Phnom Kulen and was probably related to the Khmers. The tranquil temple’s style of architecture is of the classic art of the middle period.

Return to Siem Reap City and have lunch at a local restaurant

Afternoon

The Angkor complex of temples was divided the French archaeologists into two circuits: the Small Circuit and the Grand Circuit. 

However, we only have time to see the Grand Circuit temples that showcase the more elaborate and sophisticated side of Khmer construction (Preak Khan, Neak Pean, Ta Som, East Meabon, and Pre Rup).

Transfer to Siem Reap airport for the flight to Yangon. Arrive at Yangon International Airport and be welcomed by our tour-speaking guide, you will be transferred to the hotel for check-in.

NOTE: check-in time is 14:00. Early check-in can be arranged with a surcharge.

Afternoon

Your sightseeing tour begins with a visit to Yangon’s old colonial district, where elegant historical buildings and wide tree-lined streets recall the city’s British colonial past. See City Hall, Mahabandoola Park with Independence Monument, and drive along Strand Road and the Yangon Jetty. (If time permits, enjoy a cup of tea or coffee at Strand Hotel, one of Asia’s grand colonial landmarks)

Continue your exploration with visits to Botahtaung Pagoda and Ahma Mya Nan Nwe, where local devotees believe the spirit of a dragon princess guards the pagoda. Then, wander through the bustling Bogyoke Aung San (Scott) Market - a treasure trove of handicrafts, jewelry, clothing, and local products.

Note: The market is closed on Mondays and public holidays.

Visit the impressive Chaukhtatgyi Pagoda, home to a colossal reclining Buddha, before stopping at Karaweik Hall, a royal barge replica on Kandawgyi Lake - perfect for photos. End your day at the magnificent Shwedagon Pagoda, Myanmar’s most sacred landmark. Watch as the golden stupa glows in the light of the setting sun - a breathtaking finale to your first day in Yangon.

Morning

After breakfast at your hotel, transfer to the airport for your short flight to Mandalay, the last royal capital of Myanmar. Upon arrival, your driver will take you straight to Amarapura, a charming former capital known as the “City of Immortality.”

Along the way, stop at a traditional silk-weaving workshop, where skilled artisans create intricate patterns by hand - one of the region’s proudest crafts. Continue to visit Mahagandayon Monastery, a monastic college where hundreds of young monks study and line up in serene silence to receive their daily alms, offering a glimpse into monastic life in Myanmar.

Before heading back to Mandalay, take a walk across the legendary U Bein Bridge, stretching 1.2 kilometers across Taungthaman Lake. Built from teakwood over 150 years ago, it’s believed to be the oldest and once the longest teak bridge in the world. The tranquil scenery here offers wonderful photo opportunities.

Afternoon

Around 13:00, begin your Mandalay city sightseeing tour. Start with a visit to Mahamuni Pagoda, one of Myanmar’s most sacred sites, home to a revered Buddha image covered in layers of gold leaf.

Next, explore Mandalay Palace, the final royal residence of the Burmese monarchy, showcasing traditional Burmese architecture made entirely of teak wood. Continue to the Kuthodaw Pagoda, famed for housing 729 marble slabs inscribed with Buddhist scriptures - earning it the title “the world’s largest book.”

Visit the exquisite Shwenandaw Monastery, once part of the royal palace complex, known for its masterful wood carvings depicting mythical creatures and intricate motifs. Stop by Atumashi Monastery before concluding the day with a climb up Mandalay Hill, where panoramic views of the city and the Irrawaddy River await you at sunset.

After enjoying this magical moment, return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Mandalay.

After breakfast at your hotel, you’ll be picked up for a scenic drive from Mandalay to Bagan. Enjoy the peaceful countryside views along the way, passing through charming villages and lush landscapes that offer a glimpse into local rural life.

Afternoon

Upon arrival in Bagan in the afternoon, check in at your hotel before beginning your exploration of this ancient city - a UNESCO World Heritage Site filled with thousands of temples and pagodas scattered across the plains.

Embark on a horse-cart ride through Bagan’s most enchanting temple areas. This traditional mode of transport lets you travel at a relaxed pace, passing by iconic pagodas and lesser-known ruins while soaking up the mystical charm and golden hues of the afternoon light.

As the day draws to a close, enjoy a serene sunset cruise along the Ayeyarwaddy River. Watch the sun slowly sink behind the horizon, casting a warm glow over the temple-dotted plains - a perfect end to your day of discovery.

After this romantic boat trip, return to your hotel and overnight in Bagan.

NOTE: There are no direct domestic flights from Mandalay to Bagan.

Start your day with an exploration of Bagan’s most iconic landmarks. Begin at the vibrant Nyaung U Market, where locals trade everything from fresh produce to handcrafted goods - a lively window into daily Burmese life. Continue to the Shwezigon Pagoda, one of Bagan’s most revered temples and the prototype for many later stupas across Myanmar. Its golden stupa gleams beautifully under the morning sun.

Next, visit Kyansittha Umin (Cave Temple), Gupaukgyi Temple, a 13th-century gem famous for its intricate frescoes depicting stories from the Jataka tales. The ancient artwork offers a fascinating glimpse into Buddhist teachings and the artistry of the Bagan era.

Afternoon

After lunch, continue your journey to Htilominlo Temple, renowned for its detailed stucco carvings and old murals, built in 1211 AD by King Nantaungmya. Then, head to the Ananda Temple, one of Bagan’s architectural masterpieces. Its symmetrical design, graceful spires, and four standing Buddha statues make it one of the most beautiful and spiritual sites in the region.

Your sightseeing continues with visits to Thatbyinnyu Temple, Dhammayangyi Temple, and Old Bagan, where the grandeur of ancient architecture and sacred Buddha images tell stories of a glorious past.

As the sun begins to set, climb up near Shwesandaw Pagoda to enjoy a breathtaking sunset over the endless plains dotted with temples - an unforgettable sight.

Return to your hotel for a relaxing evening and overnight in Bagan.

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight from Bagan to Heho. Upon arrival, begin your scenic journey:

Your first stop is the Pindaya Cave, a magnificent natural limestone cave housing thousands of golden Buddha images placed there by pilgrims over the centuries. The shimmering statues in the soft cave light create a deeply spiritual atmosphere. Continue to the Shwe U Min Pagoda, located within the same complex, to admire its serene beauty and peaceful surroundings.

Next, visit the picturesque Boutaloke Lake, where calm waters mirror the surrounding hills. Nearby, explore a local handicraft workshop renowned for its traditional Shan paper and umbrella-making - a fascinating insight into the region’s artistic heritage.

Afternoon

In the afternoon, take a gentle stroll at the base of Pindaya Hill, breathing in the fresh mountain air and soaking up the peaceful rural scenery. Afterward, drive to Nyaung Shwe Jetty and board a boat transfer to your hotel in Inle Lake.

Morning & Afternoon

After breakfast, set off at 08:00 for a full-day boat tour to discover the charm and culture of Inle Lake, one of Myanmar’s most captivating destinations.

Cruise along the calm waters, passing through villages built on stilts. If your visit coincides with market day, you’ll get to explore a lively local market, where people from surrounding hill tribes gather to trade fresh produce, textiles, and handicrafts.

As you continue gliding across the lake, admire the fishermen, famous for their unique one-legged rowing technique - a sight that perfectly captures the spirit of Inle.

Stop by the Phaungdaw Oo Pagoda, the lake’s most sacred site, before heading to the Silk Weaving Village of Inphawkhon to observe artisans skillfully crafting delicate fabrics by hand. Stop by the Burmese Cats House, cheroot making, and other cottage crafts.

Your final stop will be the Nga Phe Kyaung Monastery, a 200-year-old wooden monastery built on stilts over the lake, known for its beautiful architecture and tranquil atmosphere.

After the tour, transfer to Heho Airport for your flight back to Yangon. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and rest for the evening.

After breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to Heho Airport for your domestic flight back to Yangon. Upon arrival in Yangon, continue with your onward travel arrangements or connect to your international departure.
