Halong International Cruise Port

Halong International Cruise Port is the first cruise port in Vietnam that allows all the world's largest and most modern yachts to come to Halong Bay. It is located in the centre of Bai Chay, so previously, it was Bai Chay tourist wharf, then changed to Halong International Cruise Port.

Halong International Cruise Port consists of two areas: an international wharf to welcome large ships, super luxury cruises, and a domestic wharf to welcome ships and cruises to visit Ha Long Bay, Bai Tu Long Bay. The area is about 4.500 m2 with 3 floors designed by "Top 5 leading architects in the world" - Bill Bensley, giving tourists the high-quality experience of culture, cuisine, and shopping while waiting to buy tickets to visit the bay.

How many cruise ships can dock at new terminal at same time?

Hi! For International ship, the maximum number for docking at the same time is only 2 ships. But for domestic cruise ship, traveling only in the bay, the maximum number is around 300 cruise boats

Hi! Usually, there are taxis wating outside the cruise port. You can try Mai Linh, Ha Long, Hongai, Bai Chay, or Sao Quang Ninh.

Have booked halong bay cruise day 1 wondering how far halong city is from cruise port and are taxis available? And cost In day 2 ship leaves early afternoon are there any market stalls or shops massage within walking distance of cruise ship

Hi! As the cruise port right in the city, the taxi fee depends on which area you stay in Halong City. From Bai Chay to the port cost around 70,000 - 120,000 VND. From Hon Gai it could be much higher.

About the market, if you depart from Halong International Port, the Vuon Dao market is 1.5km from there (about 20 - 30 minutes walking).

I booked halong bay boat tour, meeting point is Halong International Cruise Terminal. We are group of 28 people from Celebrity Solstics on Nov 18, 2023. Are the ship same port as the boat trip. Please reply.

The Ship is at the same port but you will have to go to the terminal with 1.2 km from where your cruise disembark
